Has anyone read any of the Anne Rice 'Vampire Chronicals'?
Or even if you have just seen the movies...
Who is your favorite vampire from that?
What did you think of how vampires are portrayed?
What was your thoughts or things you noticed?

Tue, May 23, 2006 - 11:39 AMMy favorite vampire from those novels would probably be Armand or Marius. Though Lestat has his own dynamic appeal. I think there was a huge amount of symbolism attached to those three. Lestat's kind of like that inner rebel in all of us, that all of us are attracted to, and still sort of scared away by, and Armand is the quiet, needy one who hides in the corner, and Marius is like the elegant Cary Grant-ish character. I probably think too much, but that's what occurred to me, when I read the question.
